My husband and I lost our son, Cody, at the very tender age of 3 weeks old. It was the most heartwrenching thing I have had to ever deal with. The day of his funeral I felt so hopeless, but then my husband read the most beautiful poem that he had written with the help of a friend. In some ways this poem saved me, on that day...and for many days afterwards.
